Weighted blankets are a comfort to individuals with autism, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, ADHD and can enhance a person's quality of sleep by reducing anxiety and agitation.
Weighted lap pads are an excellent tool to improve focus and concentration during sit down classroom work, eating meals or even riding in the car.
Weighted blankets and lap pads are made with a synthetic poly pellet that is machine washable.
The perfect weighted blanket is 10% of the body weight, plus one pound of synthetic weight. ISAAC Foundation will determine the appropriate sized blanket for your loved one once an application is submitted and approved.

"She stopped scratching her arm, was calm almost instantly, quiet coos instead of loud vocalizations and pretty much hasn't moved much. She is peaceful and not full of anxiousness. We are blessed so far! Please give our thanks to The Gray family and to you and staff for making this possible!" ~Dana
"I just wanted to share, Breckin(10) & Camden(6) were super excited to get an early Christmas present. We are anxious to see how they sleep tonight. We had a talk about how their blankets are supposed to help them sleep, if they feel upset their blanket will help them calm down, we watched some videos on weighted blankets. They are excited." ~Alyssa
"We sincerely appreciate ALL of the teamwork that goes into producing the weighted blankets! The quality is amazing and are obviously made with love. I plan to order another soon for a child who has suffered a brain injury. The calm effect would be very beneficial to her as well. Thank you!" ~ Donna W. and family
The interior weight is from commercial poly pellets which are machine washable. The blanket can be dried on a regular or permanent press cycle. However, we always recommend checking the blanket every 15 to 20 minutes in the dryer. The blanket may also be lined dried.
**If you have a pocket blanket, please take the bean bags out of the pockets and wash them separately in 5 pound increments.
Want a weighted blanket but live outside of our service area or don't meet our program criteria? You can make your own with these easy sewing instructions and a trip to your local fabric store.
