Sensory Relaxed Movies at the Garland!

Join the Garland Theater on the second Saturday of each month at 11:30AM for a sensory relaxed family-friendly movie!

A Sensory relaxed screening offers a welcoming environment for all people regardless of abilities/disabilities. The theater's lights are slightly brighter (with dim lighting remaining) and the sound is slightly softer. Audience members are free to move around, dance, walk, shout, sing, or engage in any activity that helps them feel at ease, as long as it doesn't compromise the safety of others. These screenings are an opportunity for community members to meet others, and to experience a movie in a space of acceptance and understanding for all.
