Community Partner

Knowledge is power

1 in 59 children are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. Many organizations currently have individuals touched by autism enrolled in their community-based programs or employed by their agency.  Often staff and volunteers lack the knowledge or training that allow these individuals with autism to flourish and show their unique abilities and gifts.

ISAAC Foundation provides workshops for organizations wishing to learn strategies to help individuals touched by autism become successful within their program or organization.

Organizations/agencies using our program:

  • Camp Gifford/Salvation Army
  • Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery
  • Boys and Girls Club
  • Church nurseries, children's ministries and VBS staff

Testimonials

My knowledge about Autism doubled. Thank you for sharing the different levels and about proprioceptive and vestibular sensory systems. That explains the behavior I observed from some students.

The examples and videos were the most helpful!

Well presented course. Speakers were engaged and knowledgeable. Really a great experience and I highly recommend the class not only to educators and families but anyone wanting to learn more about autism.
