Sensory Friendly Businesses

Why Become a Sensory Friendly Business?

Our Sensory Friendly Business Badge Program currently operates at Spokane Arena, Spokane Indians Avista Stadium, Garland Theater, and Mobius Discovery Center. A key feature of this program is the Sensory Support Kits, which are available free of charge for patrons to check out at guest services during events. These kits include noise-canceling headphones, a communication card, fidget tools, and a weighted lap pad. Partnering agencies not only provide these kits but also host an annual sensory-supportive event and collaborate with the Isaac Foundation to deliver specialized training for their team members. This training equips businesses, organizations, and service providers with the knowledge and tools to foster inclusive environments for neurodivergent individuals. Participants gain practical strategies, meaningful insights, and a deeper understanding of how to create connections, reduce barriers, and support inclusive communities
