Parent Mix & Mingle

What is Mix & Mingle?

This is an opportunity for moms & dads to get out and meet other parents who have children touched by special needs. There is no rigid structure to this group. Rather, its a casual opportunity for parents to relax while getting to know other parents.

When and Where?

When: These events happen once per quarter and take place on a weekday in the evening.

Where: The location changes with each event. We have had them at Brick West Brewing Company, The Boiler Room, Black Label Brewing Company, and Page 42.

Cost: These gatherings are completely free to attend. Some food and beverages will be provided but if more or different food is wanted, it will be paid by the attendee.

Why Attend?

Build Community: These events offer a welcoming space to meet others walking similar paths.

Self-Care: Enjoy an atmosphere free from daily responsibilities. Take a breather and connect with peers.

Mutual Support: Swap stories, resources, and parenting tips with those who truly understand.

What is Provided?

Relaxed Environment: No formal structure, just genuine conversation and laughter.

Refreshments: A mix of food and one drink will be provided. If other drinks or food is wanted, it will be available for purchase!

Networking & Resources: Connect with other families, share ideas, and learn about local programs or services.
