What is Coffee Chat?

Coffee Chat is a free opportunity for parents, caregivers, and grandparents who have children with special needs to gather, share stories and gain support. No matter your situation, you’ll find a welcoming space where you can share, laugh, and learn alongside others on similar journeys.

 


 

When & Where

When: This event takes place on the first Tuesday of each month from
10-11:30AM.

Where: The ISAAC Foundation office located at 606 W. Sharp Ave., Spokane, WA 99201

Why Attend?

Make Connections: Foster new relationships with others who have shared similar experiences.

Self-Care: Self-care is not a luxury, but a necessity, as it allows us to recharge, nurture our well-being, and show up as our best selves for others.

What is Provided?

Safe & Accepting Space: This gathering provides space where you can share and vent without fear of being judged.

Refreshments: Coffee and water will be available. Any other refreshments or food will have to be brought.

Pre-registration is requested so we can prepare refreshments and seating.

Is childcare provided?
Coffee Chats are a child-free event. This is to ensure every member feels as comfortable as they can sharing about their lives.

Does it cost anything?
No, this is a FREE event.

How long does each gathering last?
Coffee Chats run about an hour to two hours depending on the size of the group.
