IEP Support

Navigating the world of education for your child can be overwhelming and intimidating. Isaac Foundation is here to offer guidance, support, and knowledge to families needing assistance with their child’s public school education. With over 20 years of combined experience in education, 20 years as an educational supports advocates, and parents of special needs kiddos, our support team is sure to provide all of the knowledge needed to assist in your navigating the system.

EDUCATIONAL ADVOCATES ROLE:

1. Educate parents/guardians on laws/limitations/rights they have regarding their child’s education.
2. Provide support as needed when addressing public school special and education systems.
3. Review and offer suggestions to the IEP goals as needed.
4. Attended IEP meetings, in order to come together as a team to support the student best.
5. Liaison parent and school district as needed to ensure the best academic path for the student
6. Navigate next steps as needed, on a case by case basis.

What to expect when working with an advocate:

	STEP I 15 minute phone call to discuss current IEP status and concerns. Consultation Cost: One free 15 minute consultation.
	STEP II Review of the IEP by advocate with feedback and suggestions. Consultation Cost: $25/hr. (Typical review is 1-2 hours, total)
	STEP III Advocate included on IEP team communication and present at meeting(s). Consultation Cost: $25/hr. including travel to/from school. (Typical review is 2-3 hours, total)
	STEP IV Review the advised IEP plan, note any needed additional changes, and attend additional meeting(s). Consultation Cost: $25/hr. including travel to/from school. (Typical review is 2-3 hours, total)
