We are excited to share with our donors and guests that, thanks to generous donations such as yours, this year's Taste of Hope benefit was a huge success, raising $74,773.
These dollars that you helped us raise will be used build and expand programming that will meet the needs of an ENTIRE family. In addition to a future service animal placement for a child touched by autism, we will be looking to grow our Autism in the Wild Program for first responders and individuals with special needs. Through the collaboration efforts of professional first responders, autism experts, and pediatric therapy providers, The ISAAC Foundation has developed Autism in the Wild. Its objectives are to provide training for first responders on effective interaction techniques with individuals touched by autism, to provide parents with tangible solutions to 911 emergencies, and to help individuals with autism develop interaction skills that help to improve the quality of care and elicits positive outcomes between first responders and individuals touched by autism. With the funds raised, we will be able to continue to expand this program and provide training to all individuals in our community who could benefit from Autism in the Wild. None of this would be possible without the support of kind individuals such as you. Thank you again for your support and making a difference in the lives of families touched by autism!
