Autism Awareness 2021 New

APRIL 2ND 5-7PM

Join us for a mini walk through downtown Spokane.  We will meet at the Steam Plant Parking lot (823 W Railroad Alley Ave) @ 5pm. We will then walk to PF Changs to view the horse, which will be decorated for autism awareness. Then we will walk to Riverfront Park to hear a brief Autism Month Kick off speech. Finally we will walk to Saranac Commons (19 W. Main), where we'll have a fun FREE interactive kids painting project. 

Inside Saranac Commons you will find Peace Pie and Black Label Brewing Co. which will have food and beverages available for purchase. Families are welcome to join us for one part or all! Walk and art project are FREE.

APRIL 2ND 5-7PM

Join us at Saranac Commons (19 W. Main), estimated arrival time: 6:00pm to take part in a fun FREE interactive painting project for kids. This art will hang on display (and will be available for purchase) inside Saranac Commons for the Month of April.

Big thanks to Spokane United Way for choosing this project as a Spokane Gives grant recipient!

APRIL 2ND ALL DAY

Swing by any freestanding Starbucks in the Spokane and Spokane Valley Area to see team members dressed in blue to show their support for autism. They'll also have some awesome opportunities for you to make a difference in the lives of those touched by autism.

Swing by any Spokane First Interstate Branch to see team members wearing blue to show their support for autism acceptance month, and grab some swag, too! They'll also have some awesome opportunities for you to make a difference in the lives of those touched by autism.

Stop by Blu Berry Froyo at Northtown Square (4727 N. Divison) or 3007 E. 57th, enjoy a froyo and make a difference in the lives of families impacted by autism at the same time. ISAAC is their "Keep the Change" partner for April, May and June!

Three Birdies Bakery has DIY Paint your own cookies available for purchase here. Each cookie is handmade, comes with edible paints and tastes incredible! Pre-order online, then pick up at Caruso's (1120 N Division) Lego Build Event on April 25. Plus each purchase benefits kids impacted by autism.

 

APRIL 17

Grab some grub for a cause at MOD Downtown (707 W. Main Ave) on April 17 from 10:30AM-9PM. 20% of proceeds will go to the ISAAC Foundation. That way you'll be powered up and ready to go for the scavenger hunt! Pre-register here. 

APRIL 9-18

Scavenger hunt game cards will be posted online at 10am on April 9th. They'll also be available for pick up at Black Label Brewing Company. The hunt will take place downtown at various small business. Visit the various locations to solve your game card, then submit your game card and win prizes, no purchase necessary! All the details can be found here.

ALL MONTH

ISAAC Denton, a talented mixed media and watercolor artist and big time ISAAC Foundation supporter has generously donated several of his amazing portraits. Even better these portraits are autographed by the stars they portray, including: Brad Paisley, Band of Horses, Sturgill Simpson and others. Check out our ebay store here and bid on them before someone else does!

Spokane D.D.A.R.C. is hosting a Sensory Toy Drive to benefit ISAAC's Clubhouse  You can help by reaching out to your local Spokane D.D.A.R.C. member and coordinate a time for us to pick up your donation. Deadline for donations is April 11th, 2021. Contact DDARC on their facebook page or at 509.219.8186.

Join us at The Ref Sports Bar (14208 E. Sprague) to meet and mingle with other special needs parents. We'll provide a drink ticket for each attendee. Food and drinks available for purchase. It's FREE to attend, Just register online here to reserve your spot.

We have a special something coming for some special needs mamas out there! We want your nomination of a mom that could use a little extra support in the way of a delivery of a basket of love from the ISAAC Foundation.
